Ok i've been reading around and searching don't really know much about AR type rifles but would really like to get me one.   looks like alot of fun, but i would like to know some opinions on RRA kinda looking at the varmint A4 type rifle does and does anyone know a reasonable price i really don't want to get screwed by a gun shop and would like to know a reasonable price to offer them.

Prices are higher due to demand, if you are patient and do web searches you can find a decent deal.



Obviously, check the equipment exchange on this board, Gunbroker.com or GunsAmerica.com also come to mind.

thanks alot ive been looking on gun broker some, the forum has helped me learn alot about them, looking at class 3 weapons in houston, tx (have alot of rifles in stock) has anyone ever dealt with them?

If were you I would start out with a Bushmaster or RRA. Both are great guns and are not as expensive as other brands. I have Bushmaster and my brother has a RRA Entry tactical. Both have been flawless.

You should get you a model that you can upgrade and have fun with becase YOU WILL BECOME INFECTED WITH BRD!!!!

i go to school in lubbock but am from corpus christi and go back and forth fairly often my parents go to houston alot

haha bet your glad to get out of that shithole of a town, i was when i left there a couple years back. you may try to buy the parts individual, it will be cheaper but you will have to buy or borrow some tools. I liked doing that because now i completely know every aspect of my gun and i have the pride knowing i built it. btw you up at Tech by any chance

sounds good ill look around... ya im actually went to high school at calallen and we farm some around robstown but wont be coming home for the summer so dam dry down there

ya i was pretty close to heading to sam houston was looking for a scholarship there but they didnt really offer so i came to tech

lol ya you just gotta stay away from those sorority girls up here and u dont have to worry about that stuff...
