Not sure if i said it right but its in the bolt carrier assembly and it retains the firing pin. I cant see to get it out and i fear damaging it with using too much force. I just got my gun the other day and decided to take it apart... all but the trigger mechanism to familiarize my self with the gun. This pin wouldnt come out and i tried tapping it a steel punch buuut i decided not to take it any further. Any suggestions greatly appreciated in advance :)

stick a flat screew driver in the head of it and pull back..if you break it there only about $0.50 each

Or use the tip of a small punch or needle nose pliers. Just don't try to replace it with a regular cotter pin if it gets damaged.
