What are the differences in the AR15 and M16 Firing Pins? What is better, steel or titanium?

No difference. And, titanium is more expensive and not required. Unless you just want to say "My firing pin is titanium". You can buy 3 standard pins for one TIN pin, and my standard is at nearly 6000rnd and still looks new. My $02.

Oh yeah, which is better...still to be determined.

The M16 firing pin has a larger diameter "flange".

The AR-15 firing pin is reduced in diameter so that it will not tend to catch on the Colt syle notched hammer in normal semi firing mode.
