[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FSB Question

I just installed a DPMS 16" with the pinned FSB. The problem I've run into is that the front sight detent will not fit into the hole. The front sight, spring and detent I think is from Olympic Arms. Are these parts universal or do I need to purchase a set specifically from DPMS?

Any brand should work. Your particular parts might be out of spec.

I thought as much. Working it slowly with a diamond jewelers file. It shouldn't take much to get it in and move freely. The actual sight post screwed in just fine. Thanks for the reply.
