As I finish my M16A2, RO727, RO635SD, M16A4 & GAU-5A ASDW, I might get a bug up my butt to "duplicate" the Burst option in these rifles/carbines. Of the FRTs on the market, which is held as the "best" option to give a 3 round burst mode? Hope readers do not get offended. |

Arcfire V1/V2 is the best FRT in my opinion. If you want burst, I guess the "CARL" is the best route to go? I don't honestly know that much about it, but I gather it'll give you burst. |

I own at least one of pretty much AR15 FRT out there, and in my opinion the AS Designs ARC-Fire is the best one out there. That will run you about 200-250 dollars. Then if you want a 3 round burst mechanism, another 145 bucks for the Stuff and Things CARL will give you that ability. I own three of that exact combination, for my M16A4, M16A2, and M4 Carbine BURST marked clones. You will probably need to tinker with your buffer, the most foolproof way to start out with a good buffer is to use a true H3, which has an aluminum body and three sliding tungsten weights. The CARL may need some tweaking. Of my three CARLs, only one dropped in and worked immediately.
