I recently got my first ar from Del-ton, and a superior arms lower. Today I was coyote hunting and I had a shell jam up. Turns out the bullet got stuck in the chamber, and the brass casing decided to come out, whats left? Yep you got it gun powder everywhere. I got the bolt and everything cleaned but now I need to take the barrel off and get the powder out of the chamber where the barrel connects to the upper. How do I do that? I dont know how to get the barrel off. I have everything else off.

So the bullet is still in gun?

No everything but some gun powder is out of the gun and the gun powder is stuck in the upper. I dont know how to get it out?

Blow the powder out of the barrel extension with some compressed air. You shouldn't have to take the barrel off.

+1.........powder is just that, powder, will blow right out.

Thanks got it, although I improvised and used a straw, dont have an air compressor. Thanks guys!

Yes you do have an air compressor...................it's just "self contained"
