| I am almost at the end of a 15 monther in Iraq. I was forced to get out of an MRAP fast thru the turret. In my haste I bumped the ocular lens of my ACOG on something in the turret. It now has a small scratch in it. I'm not sure but I think it might be kinda deep. How do I tell if the thing is compromised without taking it off my rifle? |
| take a large baggie with ice water place the acog in it use a zip tie or something to secure it around the mount put pressure on the bag to force water in then take the baggie off take it back out in the heat, if it fogs up on the inside you got yourself a fucked up unit. |

Contact Trijicon when you get the chance. Tell them your problem. They will likely have you send it back for repair. I don't any costs, but I do know Trijicon will repair their scope. Much cheaper than having to buy another. Being without you ACOG in a combat zone may not be convient however it is worth contacting the company.
Good luck and Happy Hunting. |
