| Gents: I want to buy a 7.62x39 upper....20in A2. seems like my choices are DPMS or Model One...DPMS is more $$$$, but is it better? Also, since I have the lower w/ internals done, all I need is the A2 buttstock/kit. Of note, the entire Model 1 kit, is about 50 bucks less that DPMS upper only...okay with spending more money, just not sure what I would get for it...thoughts? |

Ive bought a few M1S kits and uppers. I havent had any deal breaking problems with them. One of the uppers was an A2 20" 7.62x39. They use ER Shaw barrels which are very good. The final decision is yours of course. I myself would steer toward M1S since they are the known commodity to me. |
