| What are 40 grain compressed copper rounds good for? |
|
What about those Barnes no lead bullets? They are copper...Silver State Armory 70gr Triple shock x hollow point. Can ya shoot them in a AR15?
"When the bullet expands, four razor-sharp cutting petals are created, allowing the bullet to penetrate farther through tough bone and tissue. These bullets usually retain 100% of their original weight, making them a superb choice for hunting" |

They are longer than a lead based bullet though since copper weighs less. |

More like a solid copper HP. The 85gr TSX is a favorite of the 6.8 crowd. |

The MPG and MIL/LE are indeed a jacketed frangible type lead free bullet from Barnes. Regardless though... they'd make a less than optimal defense bullet. |

Yeah but he was asking about the triple shock. |

Their discription on it sounds like it would tear up your ass pretty good to me....
