| Did Colt ever really make a receiver that was actually marked "Commando"? Please do not speculate. If possible I would like conclusive hard evidence one way or the other. I have seen "Colt" receivers marked Commando on the internet but, some of the other markings on the receivers don't add up. I was informed by a person that many people have created their own Colt Commando receivers from 80% lowers. Anyway, if you have any real evidence please post it in a reply. Thank you! |

Yes. LINK Only ~ 200 of the stripped/virgin lowers made it stateside. Arms Unlimited blew a stock of them out a few years ago. One example recently sold in the EE here: Attached File |

The only 2 semi auto Colt Commando marked lowers I’ve seen. AU sold some stripped Colt Commando lowers back in 2017. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

| Stateside? From where overseas? I've seen the AU receivers and I wrote them about them. They never replied and they don't answer their phone anymore. Some companies don't feel the need to provide customer service. Must be nice! Anyway, I guess I'll take my questions directly to Colt. Their names on them, they should know. And they answer the phone every time I call, kind of nice! Thank you for your input! |

The RO933 is the only thing I can think that would use a M4 Commando lower and those aren't that cool to me. I've got a genuine 733 upper, but it doesn't really work on an "M4 Carbine" |
