True or false: Colt and FN each have a cage code on barrels.

All the military issue ones have cage codes. Commercial wise FNs do not have them while modern Colts do.

Not as simple as T / F.
Both started CAGE marking barrels ~2010. Colt first, followed by FN. Frequency stepped up in 2017 to comply with updated vendor identification requirements.

Any military contractor must has a CAGE code in modern days. But not all their products are marked with CAGE.
