Okay just received my Chip McCormick single stage trigger for my bushy m4. DPMS has them at $185.00 no shipping charge. These are the brand new ones McCormick is putting out according to Shane at DPMS. He also said Chip inspects each one before it goes out. How do I install this thing as it comes with no instructions? Do I just push out the factory pins, remove the trigger group, then just drop in  the trigger assembly and pins with c-clips? Is there a position the selector should be set at? Should the factory trigger be cocked before removal or slack? I really need some advise here as the nearest gunsmith is 100 miles away. It looks simple I just want to make sure I don't screw something up.

Is there a position the selector should be set at? I BELIEVE ON SAFE, BUT TRY BOTH
Should the factory trigger be cocked before removal or slack? UNCOCKED

I just want to make sure I don't screw something up. UNDERSTANDABLE

The CMC trigger is a good choice.  Being modular, it truly is a "drop in" unit.

BTW: make sure you use the e clips.  The pins WILL walk out without them in place.  In fact, you may want to upgrade to KNS pins in the future (no chance of snagging eclips, or having them pop off)

It is a great trigger.
I have 2 of them - straight single stage triggers.

They are awesome....
