"When I get my tax-return".... I want to buy a 20in Post Ban V Match Complete Upper Receiver for my Bushmaster. Most of the shooting I do is between 100/200yds.
Would you guys recommend a 20in or would a 24 in be better?
Also, do you recommend shooting a heavier bullet with this setup? Like 62grains?
Thanks!

Why a post ban model?  I'd go 20" and would take advantage of the 1x9 twist and use 68-69gr Black Hills ammo for target shooting, but 55gr will be very accurate too.

Thanks for your reply, everybody
GotM4: What difference would there be between the post and pre ban models?
I figured since the rifle is post, I might as wel stick with a post upper.

Are you in a state that still has an AWB?  If so your stuck with using a postban.  If not the preban would have a bayonet lug and FS.  A FS does shoot a little less accurately but at 100-200yds non of us would be able to tell the difference and an A2 FS does have slightly less muzzle climb during recoil.

Thanks for your reply,
I'm in Fl, and from what I understand, it looks like they will be going back to the AWB here at some point.
