Bushmaster Picture Thread (Page 6 of 14)
This guy is probably on version #34235321 by now... Started out as a bare bones rifle and is currently looking like this
Starting from the front; 14.5" barrel with pinned PWS comp, Surefire rail, Magpul Ladder Rail Covers, BFG RediMod, E.B.R. Bolt Release, Magpul MIAD and Trigger Guard, Timney drop-in, Aimpoint M2 in Larue mount, Magpul MBUS, Stag ambi safety, Badger Tactical Latch, Magpul ASAP sling plate and CAA stock saddle (which was actually the very first modification on here and still going strong) What you can't see are the 5 coil extractor spring and insert, H buffer and staked gas key and castle nut Since the above photo I have swapped out the M910 for a X300 in a Larue mount...

I took this pic last week while getting in position to take care of a little problem one of our neighbors had with a pack of wild dogs which had been killing his sheep. I took out three with my AR. He got two with his old Garand (he's an old WW2 vet). A couple of them looked like coy-dogs to me.

The head is made in USA by Dana Turner http://www.fortturner.com and I made the handle myself from a sledgehammer handle. The specific model is the Iroquois Tomahawk. This one in my pic is one I custom requested to be a bit larger than his standard model, making it almost like a 'Missouri War Axe". Very light, very quick, very tough, and very sharp. |

It does have some weight on the forward end because I have it mounted all the way forward on the receiver. That's just because it's more comfortable for me there, so YMMV. They sure are priced right.
