I finished up my first lower build yesterday and I am now looking for an upper. Do i need a rifle buffer tube to use this upper or will a carbine buffer work?

Lower is a JD Machine lower
Magpul UBR stock
Magpul Miad grip

Upper

UBR uses carbine spring and buffer.

Guess I have should have worded my question differently, will a carbine buffer be ok to use with that upper?

Stocks and the buffers they use are independent of the upper and it's gas system.
