I'm looking to change buffer springs for a couple of reason in my RRA lower and Stag upper 14.5/16.1 rifle.

Reduce Recoil
Current shell extraction is 1:00 and dents in brass.

I did go to a H buffer and that helped just some.

What is the difference/plus/minus between the Wolf Carbine Spring $13 vs the Springco Blue buffer springs $20?

I'm leaning toward the Springco Blue since they have a kit that comes with the extractor spring for $22

Shells bouncing off the deflector and landing at 1:00 ?
I would try a heavier buffer (than H) before monkeying with springs.

This is where I get a bit confused. Is it not one and the same? Heavy Buffer or Heavier spring do the same thing?

Faster, easier to experiment with buffers on a possible over-gassed rig.
With the H you started to get results, it sounded like....just need to press on.

Check on the (your) Hometown Forum...maybe you can borrow a heavier buffer from a member near you.

I have been using Tubb’s flat wire CS springs.
His CS spring is rated for something like a million cycles or more.
I think the spring is worth it just for the service life increase, but it may affect what weight buffer is optimum.

I'm going to weigh both buffers tonight

The H3 is missing from the list.

Just checked buffer. Says H2 on the end.

I'm wondering if Stag opens up their gas port dimension so it will cycle cheap ammo ?
Then full power ammo really shreds.

I've never used one, but there are adjustable gas blocks.

Had some electronic conversations with springco. Got the blue spring kit that includes the extractor spring.  Installed today. No shooting yet
