just finished building a new upper but i did use a BCG ive shot before. W
hen finished I put it on a proven lower. When checking the function the bolt wouldnt stay back with an empty mag. So i replaced the Bolt catch, dent and spring. and it still wont stay back. Whats going on??? |
| Pictures please but it could be two things.... Frist is your bolt being able to be locked back by hand... second did you install the right bolt catch spring, thrid is the lip of the bolt catch lever being pushed up my an empty mag, and last make sure the bolt latch moves freely and no binding or the wrong size pin so it is to tight to move on its own..... Pictures will help... |

As for the right bolt catch spring, I bulit the lower over a year ago and it worked flawlessly with a different upper , but same BCG The catch is being pushed up by the empty mag, but it dosent seen to be pushing it up as much when the upper is attached and last the bolt catch can move freely pics possible later but not now what can you do with the info ive provided
