Hey, Just got a new stock, and I'm so bummed... The bolt sticks in the buffer tube. The buffer plunger workd fine. If I loosen the tube 1/4 turn it's fine. Is the tube bent? parts are new.. I tried it with 3 different uppers, same deal. What do I do next? Thanks guys |
| Sounds like a funny alignment problem or cross threading... compare it to the old tube, and see what varies. Just how much of the bolt carrier is actually going into the tube? Is the corretc buffer installed for the new setup? What portion of the carrier is sticking? |

Thanks! Not cross threaded. The flange is flush with the lower receiver. No old tube to compare with. About 1/2 to 3/4 of the bolt goes in, not enough to strip a round from the mag. Bolt has a aluminum smuge at 10 o'clock looking from the rear about 1/2" wide. Guess I'll have to try and return it. |
