So after doing up the A2 "CPD" LEO marked Bushy I bought last week into a BHD pattern (recent post of mine), I started thinking about a Blood Diamond build. I see it's almost impossible to get an A2 upper these days. And if I found one, how about a 10.5" barrel assembly with non-F marked FSB? So I decided to just improvise. I used a PSA 11.5" upper with detachable carry handle I had and put it on an old Global Tactical SBR lower. The fake Moderator is a "slip over the barrel" FH that I've never found a good use for. I did cut off the slip over end to shorten it up. The Aimpoint was actually a 2x magnified version I got cheap and cut-off the magnifier part. I think it turned out pretty well and I didn't have to spend a dime. Unfortunately my pics don't do the color scheme justice.   |
