I know there was a link about bullet ballistics around here somewhere but didn't find it.

I was wondering why the 6.8x45 (or is it 41?) is better than the 7.62x39? Not a math major, but they seem to almost be the same to me in equivalent values.  Is it the bullet weight or the amount of powder the case holds,,,,,,or something else like "none of the above"?

Thanks,
Doug
