[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint Pro Problem?

Just got my aimpoint pro, and when I look through it I get a translucent red line from about 10 o'clock to 4 o'clock and everything below it is red too. I can see through it, it just isnt perfectly clear. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and do you think I should possible need to send it back? I'll try and get a pic so you can see.

Take it outside and check again... Could just be your eyes.

This. Also, if you turn it up too high for current lighting conditions, this can happen.

Well I took it outside and tried it, I dont have my upper yet, so I was just trying it inside. When I use it outside its not a problem so thats good.

that's normal... if you focus on the dot.....and a target.... you don't see it... common problem with shooters new to red dot sights.... they spend hours staring at every square millimeter of the sight, looking at every minute detail.....

go out and shoot....
