Anyone ever have this happen??? I went to mount this on my BCM middy upper to some accuracy testing and it broke...I hope ARMS can fix or replace this for a small charge.

This is why you should buy LaRue mounts, kids!

This is, I believe, the first ARMS product to break in this manner.

In the last half hour. In Idaho.

I'm sure you'll be able to get it fixed. That latch runs straight up through the handle and is pinned through the handle. I'd contact A.R.M.S. and see what they have to say about it.

It this were a LaRue mount then they would simply send you a new one, but they wouldn't replace the hammer you broke in order to break their mount

Just get a LaRue anyway.  You won't regret it for a second.

Happened to my Surefire light attached to a rifle, the rifle was standing on a trunk about 1.5 feet high, it fell on the carpeted floor and the stem of the throw lever snapped, much the same way yours did.
Call ARMS and they'll take care of it.

As to the LaRue cheerleaders, enough already.  Every time I see one of you people paddling LT gear, I want to buy it less.  And it's too bad, because I like LT's stuff.

Oh don't be so sensitive. Even unbreakable combs can be broken.

So your ARMS mount broke after a 1.5 foot fall onto a carpeted floor, and you want us to stop recommending LaRue gear?

I guess you've never seen me recommending LT mounts?

The OP's ARMS mount lever broke, he can contact ARMS to have it taken care of under warranty, that'll solve his problem.  Paddling LT gear is about as tasteful as when a Windows user asks for help, but gets "Get a Mac" reply instead.  There's no denying you and the "Get a Mac" people are both correct in some ways, in both cases there seems to be some personal agenda mixed in.

Just for fun ... when you contact A.R.M.S. try asking them what kind of deal they would make if you upgraded to their new adjustable mount. They probably won't, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
