Posted this also in "Industry - Bushmaster", but thought I would also do so here. Has anyone replaced the OEM springs with the JP 3.5 Reduced Power Springs? If so, what were the results? Thanks! |
| If you don't care about increased lock time and an increased possibility of a misfire than it can make the trigger lighter. A better choice is to get a different trigger. The Rock River Match trigger is only about $100 if you shop around. It goes in with no adjustments, and with just the two trigger/hammer pins, and will decrease the trigger force by about 1/2 (about 4.5 to 5 lbs). Or you could get the Geissele SSA or match trigger for about $170 to $250 respectively, of any of a number of other triggers that will give you a much smoother lighter pull without the disadvantages of the light springs. |
