Posted this also in "Industry - Bushmaster", but thought I would also do so here. Has anyone replaced the OEM springs with the JP 3.5 Reduced Power Springs? If so, what were the results?

Thanks!

If you don't care about increased lock time and an increased possibility of a misfire than it can make the trigger lighter.  A better choice is to get a different trigger.  The Rock River Match trigger is only about $100 if you shop around.  It goes in with no adjustments, and with just the two trigger/hammer pins, and will decrease the trigger force by about 1/2 (about 4.5 to 5 lbs).  Or you could get the Geissele SSA or match trigger for about $170 to $250 respectively, of any of a number of other triggers that will give you a much smoother lighter pull without the disadvantages of the light springs.
