I'm looking for an ACOG (can't find ANY in the local area to look through) but can't find the following:
What is the difference between the TA31RMR-G and the TA31ECOS-G? Other than .3 inches in length and dark/brown vs black? I like the idea of a scope for farther distance and red dot for up close. This looks like a good combo (being put on a Colt 6920). Any other input/thoughts appreciated as well! |

The TA31RMR has a BDC that only goes to 600 meters, has a standard thumbscrew mount.
The TA31ECOS has built-in iron sights, a QD mount, and the reticle goes to 1000 meters. It also has lanyards on the turret caps, so they don't get lost. FWIW, you can find the TA31ECOS for cheaper than the TA31RMR........IDK why.....the TA31ECOS gives you more..... For instance, 4scopes If you're looking to buy, I HIGHLY recommend 4scopes.
