I would like to buy a New or used A1 upper receiver
Every one seems to be out of stock I would prefer a new make with m4 ramps in black Is there anyone who can tell me where they are available Hank |

I don't know of anyone that made either style with factory cut M4 ramps, but unless you are planning on running something full auto there is definitely no problem using a none M4 ramp upper with a M4 ramp barrel, I do it all the time. You can find some used uppers on EE and GunBroker from time to time but they are kind of overpriced because of the lack of new reproductions (Brownells & NDS) in stock at the moment. RGUNS was selling new complete C7 style uppers at a good price for a while but they are currently out of stock on black ones, but they do still show some colored ones (OD green and matt sand). The Brownells A1 uppers that were last available were black with no M4 ramps, they are currently out of stock, but are supposed to hopefully have more available at some point. |

Colt did make them with feed ramps. I had one, traded it off for a different upper.
I believe these were on the 733. It wasn't true M4 but called improved carbine or something. It had a 4 stamped above the gas tube and extended feed ramps. I've been told the ramps were shallower than M4. |

I believe I have seen some of the uppers you are describing for sale "used" on EE or GunBroker but I don't think I have ever seen any newly manufactured ones out there. |

Another damn part I wish I hadn't sold.  Seriously, though - is no one making C7s anymore? The molds for the Anchor Harvey Forgings have to be out there somewhere...
