I need help to determine if I need a buffer spacer for my 9mm build. I have a PSA 9mm Colt style lower receiver, Thordson custom's cheekrest and buffer tube assembly, Wolf XP buffer spring, Spike's 9mm buffer and will be running a PSA 10.5" 9mm 12" slanted m-lock railed upper. Will I need a buffer spacer with this set-up to keep from breaking lower receiver parts? Please advise...
Thanks,
Spudwebb

The Spikes ST-9X buffer is extended in length specifically so you don't need a spacer.

If your buffer were the same length as a normal carbine buffer, then you would want a spacer.

D_Man thanks much for your response! That is the buffer I will be using. I purchased a spacer just in case I needed it because I just was not sure. I'll keep it just in case I need it in the future.
