I did a search, but couldn't find anything that was pertinent to my question.

All I've had is 4 (Colt) and 5 (Vltor) position receiver extensions, and I'm wondering about the positioning of the holes on a 6 position receiver extension.

Here is a crude drawing to help.

With the top of the picture being towards the muzzle, are 6 position receiver extensions more like 6A or 6B or something else?

My preferred LOP is with the 2nd position on my Vltor 5 Position receiver extension and want to know if a 6 position extension is going to have a hole in the same spot.

The RRA 6-position tub isn't excactly like 6A or B...
Let me explain.  The fully open position allows for a stock length that is 3/4" longer than an A2 stock.  The first inward position puts the stock at approximately A2 length.  The next position puts it at approximately A1 length, then there are two intermediate positions, and finally fully closed, which is the same length as our abbreviated entry butt stock.
