5.45x39 armor piercing cutaways. Head stamps and weights listed. 3 out of the four known 5.45 AP. (Not including 7N6, but after 1987 all cores were hardened to 60 HRC)
7N10, NN, head stamp 7/00 (made from 1987-94, 3.56 bullet that has Flat Point core made of u12A steel 70) penetrates 6mm St3 plate at 300m 7N22, BN, head stamp 17/08, black tip (made from U12a steel with Sharp Point 1.75g penetrator) penetrates 16mm of ST3 at 100m 7N24, BC, head stamp 7/00 (has 2.1g tungsten carbide ((UK8)) shaped core) no known penetration values...yet Missing is the 7N39 "The Needle" with 4.0g bullet and tungsten core Just for reference, every "N" you see in Russian nomenclature is really an "H" in Cyrillic. There are no extra's lying around, don't even ask. wolfganggross
