www.ftfindustries.com/ anybody buy from these folks? any trouble? average time from order to receipt of goods for in stock pieces? i'm having a significant problem, but as i've learned we all do business in a different fashion. i ordered several parts kits, all in stock, on the 1-6. my card was billed the same day. no shipments yet. i've called and get only an answering machine. i've used email referencing my order # for clarity, and received an email saying: "Hi Sorry for the apparent problem with your order..No reason that these shouldn't have shipped that I see on this end ..Will check with our warehouse and advise you of ship method tracking etc or ifthere indeeed is a problem ..Sorry again for the problem Thank you for your interest in our products !" i'd wait it out, but i need those parts by the 25th at the very latest. my biggest bitch is that they don't answer the phone and have only responded vaguely be email with no more communication. again, although it isn't how i do business, keeping a customer at arms length apparently is there way, or so it seems. from those who've dealt with them in the past: is this typical? are you confident this will be handled? or... i have a project that cannot wait and i need to have several rigs built prior to the 26th... i suppose if nothing else works, i'll buy the parts locally and worry about my money with them and their parts later. i can't falter on my committments due to a third party... any light you folks can shed would certainly be appreciated! -ST13 |

Sorry, I can't help w/any info, because I never heard of these guys before----and I'm willing to bet the vast majority of the rest of ARFcomers never did either. Moral of the story. Order your parts from either folks who list on this web site, ot from one of the major makers like Bushie, or Rock River.  "Check with our warehouse"? Why do I think this is some guy sitting in his kitchen, who has a drop ship arrangement, with someone 100 miles away? |

they lost my order more or less. i was billed, they show they shipped it, but no tracking number. after sending four emails, i reforwarded them all with a nasty-o-gram. i was contacted, given an apology, and they sent the parts out 2nd day delivery. got them today. i have to give them to benefit of the doubt. seems like after i got to the right guy, my problem was solved. i guess i'd give them another shot. i won't do it under a time constraint though... |

My only order with them went perfectly well. I really like their lower receiver pin & spring set for $18.95. After I swapped a RRA 2-stage trigger into my varmint build, I had the standard fire control parts leftover. This kit was everything I needed to finish a carbine lower with my old trigger parts except for a selector which I purchased separately. It's a good inexpensive way to help utilize those leftover trigger parts a lot of us have lying around! |
that is what i bought from them. lots of those kits. every build i get into requires a different fire control group and an aftermarket grip. so having an LPK less those parts makes sense IMO. |
