Figured I'd share some detailed pictures of my service rifle in case anyone here was trying to clone the C7A2 (or any similar CC rifle).

I'm guessing that the pieces of rail section on the front sight are in lieu of a railed handguard? And yes, we dont get issued a full rail like tge KAC M5 RAS, so instead we have short Cadex rails for foregrips or lasers. |

Not really clone correct or anything. But it's my favorite rifle and it's inspired by the C7A2.
Colt AR15A4 handguard, grip is from Armalite stock is the Vltor A5 system BCM tri-rail clone rail on the handguard is from GGG the grip is a Cadex I got for $5. That and the price of an Elcan I really don't want. :D I sorta wanted to do a close of a clone as possible in the beginning. But then decided to go similar, but do what I wanted. Looking for Colt Canada furniture, the proper made Diemaco/CC tri-rail, Cadex rail section, etc was way more than I wanted to spend when/if I could find them.

More questions but first, THANKS!! 1} What is the use of carbines in the Canadian Army? 2} Are the plans to keep the Rifle upper/Carbine lower for some time to come? 3} CA personnel don't keep their weapons at home, do they? PS; interesting grind on that blade. Sort of a semi-chisel grind. |

My GTR is inspired by it. I live the 20” with a collapsible stock. Super handy!
