I origionally started this thread in Oct of 2006 and it went on for a while and go archived....so I'm starting a new one......
Recently a friend was at my house and the topic turned to guns and gear, as it usually does. We began discussing our likes and dislikes with gear relating to the AR15 platform, our likes and dislike, and what has and has not worked for us. During this conversation my friend called me a "LaRue whore". I smirked and explained that I purchased my first piece of gear, a LaRue ACOG mount in the early spring of 2004 and it was far superior to any ACOG mount that I had used up to that point. I then purchased a rail system, again it was far superior to any other rail system that I had used up to that point. From that point until present when ever I've needed a rail system, optic mount, Surefire mount, etc. I have purchased LaRue products. Due to problems I had with 2 other rail systems coming loose at the barrel nut, I used my entire 2005 tax return converting all of my rail systems over to LaRue rails. I even went about replacing the rail systems, optic mounts, etc. that I currently had with LaRue products. In the last couple days I have been thinking about the "LaRue whore" comment that my friend made. I know someone here has more LaRue Tactical gear than me.......Let's see how much LaRue gear you've got:

I need to take more photos of my other rifles. I prefer LaRue gear to anything available today!
Here is our new TR24 1-4X 30mm AccuPoint in a SPR mount. I have just switched it to a 1.93 mount and I like it even more...(RSF shooting, not me) 
This is with the 16" barrel...

I'm no where near done with this rifle. I still have a MOE stock, MOE grip, LaRue 7.0" rail, FUG, and LT-606 light mount to go before I'll think about calling it done. In the meantime, however, it has been flawless and about as accurate as I can expect a carbine to be. LaRue stuff is top quality and I recommend it to others whenever I can. -Spike's lower -LMT upper -Aimpoint ML3 -LaRue BUIS -LaRue Aimpoint cantilever mount
