I've seen several kits, but I'm really impressed with the specs on the 11.5" barrels that CMMG has listed. I'll pick up the barrel from CMMG, and drop it on my Bushy along with a few other items.

I just placed an order with brightflashlights for a Surefire rail, and I'll hunt down some KAC panels to round out the package.

Let's face it, I've got plenty of time to shop.

I should have said that once I get my Form 1 approved, I'm going to build my SBR using one of the soon to be released Stag Arms 11.5" Uppers

This will have a 1/7 twist barrel and M4 ramps attached to a Stag M4 upper. I'll probably use my A1 carry handle on it as well.

I love my 11.5! Don't give a rats ass about the velocity loss. Its my Room Broom. I have a Tango Down grip on the way. Surefire coming. Maybe Aimpoint. Specter SOP sling.

You might have to make a trek out here for one of the Oregon arf.com shoots. I don’t know if I’ll be over your direction any time soon, but next time you get over into the valley, let me know. Some of the Oregon folks are talking about heading east for a shoot, might want to check into the hometown forums and see what’s up.

It's a Surefire X200 w/incl. rail mount adapter. It cost me $205 to my door.

South African is a little marginal in my 11.5". It's fine until the gun gets dirty. With a can on, it's fine because of the extra backpressure. XM193 runs great with or without a can, dirty or clean.

Can some of you guys that posted pics w/ the cans give us some feedback on them (the cans). How well do they work with a SBR, do you like the one you bought, would you buy it again, how many rounds have you shot through it, accuracy issues, etc.

I'm quite happy with my M4-02. It may not be the quietest, but it is very small and gets the SPL down to (just) under 140 dB on my 11.5". That means that if I ever have to use it indoors, I will probably be able to hear afterwards. Not exactly comfortable outdoors without some sort of protection, but I didn't get it for plinking. No noticable decrease in accuracy. I only have 500ish rounds through it because, like I said, it's not for plinking.
