| I purchased a krinkov kit from AoA that came with a triangle folder (made in Taiwan) and am wondering if I should just bite the bullet and buy a Russian one instead from Arsenal. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the triangle folder that comes with the AoA kits? |
| They're supplied by Curtis at AK-Builder. I've used them on a few builds and they're very nice for the price. The only difference between the one you have and the Russian pattern stock is that the Russian will have a 5.5mm pin as opposed to the 4.5mm pin on the Bulgarian pattern. If you happen to order a NoDak Spud receiver for your build it will be cut for a 4.5mm stock. So you're going to use an NDS just stick with the one you have. The Russian doesn't have any real advantage to the other. |

However, I think the kit the OP is referring to is the Yugo M92 kit w/triangle stock that AoA offers. I really wish the term "krink" never existed. If it's a Russian pattern gun it's an AKS-74U or AKSU, if it's a Yugo it's an M92 or M85, if it's a Polish it's an Onyx, ect. |
