Hi. Im new to the site so If I have posted this in the wrong place let me know. I have a Romanian Ak built on an Ohio Ordnance receiver. It has the standard wood furniture on it. I want to get a side folder stock like on the AKS74 and AKs74u. Does anyone make just the stock and mounting hardware? Can I even make this modification to my weapon? Jeb |

They do make non folding fixed versions of the stock that will mount to any stamped AKM receiver, but if you want it to fold then it will require gunsmithing of your receiver. I had mine done for about $280 by Josh Newton and it came out great. They also make a drop in folding version for stamped receivers, but the pivot axis is outside of the receiver, so it looks a little ungainly although I guess it does work properly.
