Recently got a great deat on a underfolder, $325 out the door. Great rifle, but I don't like the plastic handguards. Right now I have a UTG qaud rail on it, but would like to find some nice looking wood furniture for it. My question since this is my first Ak is what do I need to look for and where. All are  wood handgaurds interchangeable or does a Yugo need something specifically designed for a Yugo? Also will adding the handgaurds make it non compliant as far as not having enough US made parts on it?

The handguards are Yugo specific.
Your current compliance parts are the grip, handguards (original Century poly ones), FCG, receiver, barrel and maybe the brake (depending on if it's Century marked or not).  So you have either 7 or 8 compliance parts depending on the brake.  This means you don't need US handguards to be in compliance.

I see surplus Yugo wood handguards in the EE quite often as well.  Worth it to check the EE frequently.
