I've had my Zastava M90NP forever now. Never shoot the thing. It is my last AK in the stable, a while back, I sold off all my other AKs. My Romainians, Chinese, etc. I've kept it around since it is in 5.56x45mm and uses AR mags straight from the factory. Part of me wants to keep it and part of me wants to get rid of it. Are these guns in demand? If so, I might get rid of it and roll the Zastava money into something else. |

Thats an older one, back before zastava saw the light and started chrome lining their barrels. Current zastavas, including the 5.56 ones, have the CL barrel. The only time I can recall seeing anybody complain about the M90NP or its younger sister, was in regard to the adjustable gas system. There were not readily available spare parts and the little springy that locks into each gas setting can break off. There was a period between when the M90NP stopped being offered and zastavaUSA starting to bring in the new M90s where the M90NP prices started to climb. Now that the new ones are coming in, there aren't a lot of people lining up to overpay for the old ones, even if they don't use AR mags. There are plenty of mags available and they aren't $60 a pop like an HK. That's a good chunk of change for a used rifle.

You can also find listings where they are selling for under $900. There's one on the forums that was $1100 and came with $400 worth of upgrades. Make sure your listing has the "no lowballers. I know what I got".  A brand new zastava M90 is under $1200 shipped these days. |
