Looking to know if anyone has turned down the front gas block to expose the barrel for threading on a SAM7k.
Specifically, does the barrel have enough meat for a 5/8x24 threading?

I didnt turn the front sight base down cause the barrel stuck out far enough but I did get mine threaded. It cant be threaded 5/8-24 though so I got it threaded 1/2-28 and have an adapter on it. Works great with my specwar.
