| I just picked up a new-to-me m70ab2 and noticed that there are no factory markings on the front trunion/RSB. I "feel" like every m70 kit I've seen had a serial number on the trunion and a Zastava rollmark on the RSB. Am I wrong? |

Early M70s had the serial number on the right side of the receiver. The trunnions are clean (no markings) on those rifles. Early M70s had no markings on the RSB before Zastava started marking them. Zastava stopped marking the RSBs sometime in the mid 80's. Century scrubs the front trunnions on their M70s, those are clean whether they started out that way or not. |
