[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Recoil Spring

How do I remove the recoil spring from the guide on my SAR3? I'm trying to install a buffer.

I have never broken down the recoil spring assembly. Someone who has will be along shortly to pick up on this.
I had thought that it was a "clip under spring pressure deal" and if one held the spring back from the forward end, all would be revealed.

Pull the spring back (compress it) from the end which inserts into the bolt carrier. On all 3 types that I have (Bulgarian,Romanian,Chinese) a clip will be on the end held in place by the pressure of the spring, once compressed, the clip on the end will slip off and you can remove the spring.
