Finally bit the bullet and got a WASR from Atlantic. I thought I could hold out for a Fox, but......
Overall I am very pleased. There is ever so slight of a cant to the fsb, I mean slight and Magpuls lock up tight. Everything else looks good. Hope to test fire it this weekend. I bought it with the intent of putting a black stock set on it. Need to get a butt stock for it. Put a Romy folder on it for now. Already have a wood stocked AKM.  j

Thank you for the order on the WASR 10 AK47 Rifle and glad your are pleased ! You should grab some MinWax Sedona Red stain and add some color to the wood blonde stock set . The WASR rifles look awesome with decent looking wood . Below is a pic of a WASR decked out with the Atlantic Arms Russian Red Laminate stock set .

I always knew you had to be willing to die to even do this job. But, I don't want to push my chips forward and go out and meet something I don't understand. A man would have to put his soul at hazard. He'd have to say, "O.K.I'll be part of this world
| I bought mine new about 10 yrs ago. I won't tell you how much I paid for it, but was WAY less then $700. Back then, the mag well was enlarged by hand, very rough. I looked at a new one recently at a local gun show, the fit and finish is way beyond the old days. Congrats.. |
| Oh, I was doing AK’s 10+ years ago, so I know. That’s why buying this one hurt so much. Yes, the quality has improved. So far, mine has not skipped a beat. It has eaten two different varieties of Russian steel case and blanks as well. I’m quite pleased with it. |
