Ive been using the threaded rod with washers on either end to reinstall the barrel on my Yugo, but Ive run into a problem. How do you support the washers that are inside the trunion? I used a block of metal, which worked fine until the barrel passed through the hole and was at the inside lip of the trunion. Now I cant seem to figure out how to support the washers, as they will bend and distort the rod without support, instead of pushing the barrel in further. Also, is there anyone in the Philadelphia area with a press and a jig that can help me out with this?

Did you do it like this?

You want to run it all the way out the rear of the receiver.

Use the bolt carrier.  Run the all thread through the bolt hole.  Put washers on the back side.

I didnt use the backof the receiver. I wasnt sure if it was strong enough , or if it would bend. Ill try that , or even the bolt carrier method...Thanks.
