Installed a G-Tech FCG in my NHM90.  Now when I pull the bolt carrier back the hammer does not get caught and follows the carrier forward.  When I pull the carrier back slowly it gets caught up at the rear, I can't see on what.  I have to force it forward, but the hammer still follows the carrier forward.

If I take the topcover off and force the hammer down by hand (withoug the trigger pulled)the trigger catches it.  However I barely touch the trigger and it releases the hammer.

I have the disconnector spring in place (I tried both the original and the one that came with the G-Tech set), also have the hammer spring legs over the back of the trigger.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?  Anybody experience this before?

How badly does it get cought? Can you still rack the bolt properly? Many AK bolts will hang up if allowed to move forward slowly, and it's normally not a problem.

Check the bottom of the disconect. I have seen a few various mfg. that have a little too much meat on the bottom and hit on the top of the trigger. One did what you are desribing, the others made the carrier stick to the rear.

it's just an interferance problem. as mike suggested, the discon bottom is interferring with the slotted area of the trigger.

just grind of a little stock at a time from the bottom of the discon untill relible resetting of the discon and trigger is achieved.
