Will an AK 47 FRT trigger run in an Israeli Galil, or are there too many mods standing in the way?

I think the safety, especially the left side thumb safety and the bigger hole will prevent you from using one in a Galil. I wanted to try with mine and decided not to bother.

If you're machine shop savvy and have the tools, you could probably remove the thumb safety, make a plug for the left side of the receiver so you could use an AKM safety lever or similar in it, then be able to use an FRT, but this also depends on which FRT you are using.

Don't see why it wouldn't, I'm running a Tapco trigger on my Galil SAR.

It's not about the trigger, it's about the cam for the FRT
