how would i take the paint off the charging handle?..its all black. but im trying to make it the shiny chrome like color ... so yeah what kind of stuff should i use to take the paint off the top of the handle to give it a more sexier look

can you do the whole dame gun like that? does that never dull keep it from rusting?

All you are doing is taking the bluing off the bolt carrier. If you don't keep it oiled it will rust. You could KG gunkote in silver or brushed stainless.

wouldn't it be easier to just buy a new on in crome, that way you wouldn't have to worry about it rusting after you took the bluing off?

There are none in chrome that I know of, just Chinese ones that are in the white. No bluing. I have two of them. You could always send a carrier off to be hard chromed.
