IIRC there used to be a tacked message explaining how to expand the capacity of small (5, 10, 15 round) AK magazines. Can't find it now, can anyone provide some help?

You can replace the follower in the 5-round double-stack magazines, and they will then hold 10 rounds. I've done this to one, and it works great.
I don't remember exactly which follower to buy, and I'm not inclined to search at the moment . . . but I'm sure you can find it. The short 10-round mag is actually pretty nice for the range. |
