I want to share something I've been a part of for a while, with the first culmination one month ago. This is a weapons-based self defense instructor program.

The Hardest Firearms Instructor Training in the World | Official Trailer

I heard the concise "in a nutshell" description about training a person to be "a fighter with a gun" but ...

1. What is the scope and broader objective?

2. Just to confirm, this training is targeted at the instructor demographic?

3. Is there a general overview where one could get an idea of the course curriculum?

4. Is this training or a form of competition?

It's a training program for instructors,  but this video is about the final test. No formal competition, just people trying to kick your ass and take your gun.

Yes, it's focused on the Instructor, with the objective being, on my view, to train as many people as possible - through those instructors - in weapons-based self defense.

The curriculum is comprehensive in the context of the average concealed-carry person. There's pistol handling, but the meat & potatoes is weapons-based wrestling/grappling. Thisisids.com has some info, but go to their YouTube channel for a better view.
