Interesting discussion on CQB tactics: Seal Team 6 Operators Experience with Delta Force CQB Tactics One of the comments was great: "combat clearance and hostage rescue tactics are completely different things for completely different situations." I agree. Most especially for units that don't do hostage rescue. It's stupid to have those units use hostage rescue tactics. There are reasons for hostage rescue units to do the same tactics every time.... probably not great reasons... as predictability makes the best tactics the worst tactics... but there are reasons (consistency in training, speed, etc). |
