Apparently it has Silver microfibers weaved into it and Silver is supposedly a Natural Antibiotic and Promotes wound healing over many other things or just wrapping it. Due to The Betus, I had a would on my foot that just would not heal, we're talking 3-4 months no improvement, slowly getting worse. My doc referred me to a ""Wound Specialist" and they had me put a small slice of that on it, just slightly bigger than the wound itself, then wrap with the gauze and tape. In less than 3 days I could tell the difference and now it is almost 100% gone. I won't go so far as to call it magic, but it helped when seemingly nothing else did. |
