1. Develop immediate and robust physical skillsets (it is my opinion that what is most critical here is the ability to execute the basics quickly, ruthlessly, and correctly on demand).
2. Commit to the use of violence against the VCA. Restraint is not a virtue if killing is the objective of the VCA.
3. Institute personal habits that signal rectitude, seriousness, and ability to defend oneself and significant others. As master instructor John Farnam would say, “flunk the victim test”. Cause the VCA to think that attacking the Concealed Carrier might be a bad idea and that it is best for the VCA to move on.
4. Recognize that the concealed carrier’s consent and understanding are not necessary in order for a VCA to immerse the concealed carrier in their world where rage, hate, and blood are common.
