Time has crept up on me but I am attending a class in 2 weeks. It's two days of carbine and pistol work. Should be action packed. I've attended several day classes of both carbine or pistol and it was obvious during the carbine class, I needed knee pads. A couple of times we were "competing" and I just threw myself to the gravel. At 46 with skinny chicken legs, I was a bit banged up. So with that said, what knee pads are focus successfully wearing these days? Details: I'll probably have cargo shorts on OR 5.11 standard tactical pants. Pretty skinny legs and 6'3" I am wide open on brands, open to wearing them over or under the pants? (no inserts though). Is there a proven market leader in these types of things? A preference or other? (I'm running Esstac gear across the board otherwise.) |
